Essay Writting
Id been making notes in a word document for writing my essay but they were all out of sequence so i printed them off, highlighted the good ones, cut them out and paperclipped them to a piece of paper in the write order, pretty aint it? =p
Also have a notice board covered in kinda rubbishy hand written notes, I cant figure out how to delete or rotate this picture, blogger hates me =[

Getting a Kindle!
Things you learn as a first year student
Free software can be a good send
It is not possible to do coursework with someone else in the room even if you tell yourself it is
Dont sit down, offer a hello and keep walking!
Do your coursework early, do group work earlier, so it all, do it right and feel smug that its done
Dont take people at face value, they may tell you theyve done badly, they havent.
Dont be so morale you fail your course, fricken use the "resoures"
Even when winging it some preperation is better than none.
Email before the night before when your not actually sure what your ment to be submitting.
Don't say youll do things you won't
Don't leave it so late that your nearly dead by the time you've ran up the hill.
Short cut through Royal College is a life saver.
If it can be avoided don't stay in Halls.
Dont sit next to a window in a tutorial you will either freeze in the draft or roast in the sun.
Never stress to much, its not the end of the world.
Open your mouth and speak to people but not to the point you look utterly mental.
As soon as theirs sun in the sky, everyone will appear in shorts, it really isnt that warm.
Lectures are not mandatory.
Lecturers never email you the important stuff but instead leave you to scour myplace for the relevant information, leave no stone unturned.
Get a cracking summer holiday
Enjoy your time off.
Take MDP a wee bit more seriousl, but not to much

Its not hard its just tedious.

Had a mix up online as it updated to say it was delivered but it hadn't been so phoned the store to be sure, and the girl couldn't have been more polite, explained it was on it's way and 5 mins later it was here. lovely pizza and great service. :)"

Anti-social socialness
Would it be possible to quit facebook ?
When you really sit down and think about it I'm sure most people are actually unable to stop using facebook. It has become the primary mode of communication for so many things, social activites, work, uni. If you stopped using it there is the possibility that you would miss out on things in the real world.
Its a scary when you realise you actually maintain your second online self - deleting comments, uploading pictures, commenting on statuses etc
And even as a type this i get an email from facebook.....

Ikea -> Desk!
Went a wee shopping trip yesterday to Ikea with mum to buy tea lights and came across a rather pretty desk. Im a bit fed up of sitting on my bedroom floor when im doing uni work, it gets a bit painful after a while. Regrettably to make space for said pretty desk I've had to get rid of my less well constructed bookcase *sobs* so now all my books are in boxes =[
Nice big empty and hoover space for said desk
Me constructing said desk, which i actually managed without any major mistakes, rather proud of myself for that.
Done desk!! Just need a chair now and I'm laughing but its nice to have a proper place to sit and work rather than crushing my insides.

The back behind the computer monitor is magnetic aswell which i rather like so i will need to request funky magnets for my birthday =]

Strange Day
Woke up really rather early today, im talking twenty to nine early and actually got up. Impressed myself right there for a start.
Went to tesco and got pan au chocolat for breakfast and a sunday paper for mum, cause im good like that
Came home and ate the afore mentioned yummy french things and actually did some uni work, i know gasp =p Found a free trial of software that lets me do process mapping, excited to a giddy degree.
Went to the garden centre, exciting life i know then came home and decided to go to B&Q with mum AND I DROVE!! She didnt freak out or anything and we didnt die, rather impressed with myself =]
So came home and did yet more uni work, bigger gasp while eating an amazing sandwich and watched the rugby the highlight of which was definitely the fox.
Then went to work, was only in for like 2 hours then came home and made amazing cheese toasties and sliced apple for dinner.
Sad moment = watched the antiques roadshow with mum
Filed down a small wonder desk tidy thing and painted it white while skyping with my dad.
And now blogging.
A good day i think youll agree

Tracks

Am i the only one who walks through Central Station and is hit by an urge just to get on a random train and see where they end up?
Sometimes i just get so bored with doing the same thing every single day. Day in day out. I havent done anything out of the ordinary in ages. No spur of the moment trips to eggy park. No car trips asides to KFC.
I'm getting itchy feet.
Rather glad im going abroad soon even if it is to clean.
Snap!
I want to carry my camera with me more.
Its not like I'm going to catch anything all inspiring but just some little digital momentos of my time out and about.

Does this stuff ever happen in real life?
I love her smile. I love her hair. I love her knees. I love how she licks her lips before she talks. I love her heart shaped birthmark on her neck. I love it when she sleeps.

Its all so sweet and Aww'y. Its not a love story its a story that just happens to be about love. Someone borrowed my copy an i never got it back so been forced to buy a new copy. Just such a sweet little film to watch on a lazy day
"This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he'd never truly be happy until the day he met the one. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie 'The Graduate'. The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parent's marriage she'd only love two things. The first was her long dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and not feel a thing. Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he has been searching for. This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story. "

Tom: Look, we don't have to put a label on it. That's fine. I get it. But, you know, I just... I need some consistency.
Summer: I know.
Tom: I need to know that you're not gonna wake up in the morning and feel differently. Summer: And I can't give you that. Nobody can.

Unproductive
Do you think that the more pressure you put on yourself to achieve the less you actually manage to do.
I knew i had a day off today and i told myself i would do uni work but i just cant focus on anything. I went shopping this morning and got stuff for dinner and checked the time I'm working at tomorrow and its about as productive as its got.
So far today, I've got out my HR stuff and jotted down a couple of thoughts about the question and then got bored and abandoned it in the middle of my bedroom floor. Watched prince of Persia (utter rubbish btw, don't waste your time), blogged about really random and totally insignificant stuff and cleaned my bedroom.
When I'm listening to music i want to be watching a film, when im watching a film i want to be reading a book. when I'm reading a book i want to be watching vampire diaries. I dont know what to do with myself!
I now feel like I've wasted my day =/
