The idea of a new book excites me more than new shoes

I expected the library at uni to be like this, i was somewhat underwelmed.
It reminds me of a forest with the almost branch like decoration stretching across the ceiling.
This just feels too clinical for nice fictional books but it would be amazing for non fiction. I can almost imagine the smell of freshly laid carpet and books.
