Self Help?

Ok so guessing this is somewhat like the blogging thingy on bebo - ive probably lot your interrest already but if i havent, well done *hands you a cookie"

Ok well today i rediscovered a book my aunt gave me some years ago and its like a self help book with a page for each day of the year with a little bit of wisdom on it. I thought id have a go at doing something similar online, imparting little piece of my "knowledge" that ive picked up over the years.

Todays thought is one ive been holding onto for a while and it is pretty simple and somewhat cliche but i think more people should "Break the mould", "Take the road less travelled" and i cant believe im quoting it but "It aint about whats waiting on the other side, its the climb".

Ultimately the destination might be the same but its the way that we get there that makes us.

Sometimes going against the system isnt a bad thing. So ill agree my whole "screw uni, lets go to France" wasnt in theory the best idea ive ever had but although i didnt enjoy the experience a whole lot, it was invaluable. If id done what was expected of me id have gone straight to uni with my heart not really in it, to study a course like marketing, which i think would have been all wrong for me. So while i didnt enjoy the task of cleaning caravans if you listen to me talk about it now i tend to recall it with humour and look at the good points. I would recommend it to anyone because the things you will learn about yourself, i dont think id have learnt them any other way.... just maybe dont go for 3 months.

And well i dont think im worse off for the experience and i got to where i ultimately wanted to go cause well Strathclyde here i come, got my unconditionals through today =]
