Im in such a good mood. Asides from being cold for a big chunk of it, it's been a really good day.

Had one lecture at uni and was going to go for a quick shop then go home but had a flash of memory and realised (after a few texts to confirm the facts) that I was ment to have an introductory lecture today about 3rd year subjects - THIRD YEAR, as in the LAST year of my degree unless I choose to stay for honours. Thats kind of scary.

Its been pretty sunny today aswell which has helped with the good mood thing. Bought two new books (one about weirdest ways people have been killed and the other about ghosts in Scotland), some really really really pretty postcards and some birthday pressies for two of my best mates which I think theyll really like.

Also got a big stack of books out of the library for the purpose of revision. Revision lectures next week and then its over for the year apart from exams. Then its FRANCE FOR THE SUMMER!!!

Also took some time to write some more in my book for Hannah.

Was haiving an attempt at eye make-up. Im getting better which is a good thing since i have a squint face.

Bookshelf re-organisation gone wrong

Bookcase organisation was the aim of the game since I had a big stack of books balanced on the end of my desk that I didnt have space for. So this was the bookcase before this whole thing started >>>>>>

And when I took them all off and for some reason decided that a circle was the best way to stack them ......

And when some of them went back on in colour order, its soing my head in thoug cause asides from colour there is no rythem or reason to it....

 So I have my green shelves which look alot more green in reality rather than photos











And my red shelves which show my broad range of reading tastes, sort of anyway












And blue featuring the ever popular TFIOS which I still havent read hence the little yellow sticker

Now just need to figure out how to get it back to normal and were grand

Love life

I dont care what people say girls get friend zoned by guys just as much as guys get friend zoned by girls. Singledom sorta sucks, i need someone to mellow me out cause Im stressed with uni

In a feeble attempt to avoid doing uni work i had a go at curling my hair without using curlers. you totally cant see it in the picture

Organisation needed

I need to organise all the stuff I own, like take a serious look at it and ask myself if i really ought to own it. I have so many clothes that stuff is now unable to fit into my wardrobe but I can never find stuff to wear. This tells me that I own too much. Once I'm finished coursework Im thinking I should have a clear out and get rid of stuff I dont need anymore. Stuff mostly being clothes, shoes and accessories. If I can clear out what I have I can evaluate what I need. A good chunk of stuff will come to france with me and get chucked out when Im coming home because nothig survives a season.

Death by text book....

Gahh!

I'm calm, I'm centred, I hate people sometimes!!

How is it my fault that someone had two weeks to do what they said they were going to do (they were pretty insistent that they wanted to do this part) and then with two days left they tell me they cant do it anymore and I should do it instead it is my fault that I cant get it done in time. They had two weeks and they expect me to be able to do it in two days!!

Then they want to be all sarky with me that the projects late. It wouldn't be late love if you'd done what you said you would or said sooner that you couldn't. There's no need to send me rude facebook comments!

This is why I hate group work, it brings out this side of me and I don't like this side, this side is horrible and I hate feeling like this but why say you'll do something then not bother?!

Nearly there!

I have a uni essay to finish today and I know if I just sat down and did it it would take like 2-3 hours max but I just cant motivate myself to do that. Really boring stuff like the need to clean my room is swimming round in my head. Id much rather clean my room than write this essay.
However having said that the thing is nearly done and its currently lunchtime on Sunday and its not due till lunchtime on Tuesday. This excites me. This is new for me cause usually Im running around like a mental person at the last minute trying to get stuff done while weeping over my laptop and cursing myself for not having dont it sooner. So perhaps instead of writing this I should just go and write this stupid ass essay!

Sneak Peak

Consider it a sneak peak at my latest craft project/way to avoid doing uni work. Its called quilling and its basically creating shapes out of tiny little skinny bits of paper that you roll then glue and squish in various ways. This may take a rather long time to do but the end result is really pretty

1. What's your idea of Book Heaven (genre or book that you love) and what's your idea of Book Hell (genre or book that you'd happily chuck out of your bedroom window without a second thought)?

My idea of Book Heaven is a book that I can dive into and get lost in. In most cases this will be YA like perfect chemistry, hush hush etc. Although saying that there are some good adult paranormal books out there aswell like stray, bitten anything by Kresley Cole or Gena Showalter.

In terms of hate I'm not a big fan of classics and Im always a bit suspicious of people who recommend classics when asked for recommendations.

2. If you could have a one-to-one dinner date with a literary character, who would you have dinner with and why? (Okay, I'm a bit of a romantic... sue me!!!)
Id love to speak to Alex from Perfect Chemistry cause Im not going to lie, he is a babe. Either that or the loser in the love trianlge in the Shifters Series

3. Controversy time - Do you think the romantic partnerings for Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood in Book 7 are right, or are you like me and prefer the alternate reality version of the film where Neville falls for Luna?

Please dont kill me but I dont really remember what happened in the 7th book so I cant remember if they had chemistry or not. Im a terrible person.

4. Which book is in your bag at present?

The last book in my bag was The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer but the latest one will probably be Farenheit 451.

5. Hollywood time - Which book would you like to turn into a film and why?

Id like to say Hush Hush but I sort of dont trust Hollywood not to mess up a good book.


6. One of my favourite theatre shows is "Wicked" because you find out that the supposedly villainous Wicked Witch Of The West in Elphaba is a person who's misunderstood. Which literary villain do you feel is misunderstood and why? (PS - You can't pick Elphaba).
I cant really discuss this one as it will spoil the plot in the series but the murdery type person in the shifters series i want to say book 4, I feel kinda sorry for.

7. Do you listen to music when you read to concentrate? If so, what type of music do you listen to?

I cant listen to music while I read, even if Im writing or reading uni notes I will mute my music most often to help me concentrate.

8. Cheesy question - If you could meet one book/film blogger or vlogger (no expense spared on the travel), who would you like to meet and why?

I would like to meet booksandquills or MaxieMagyx because they both have awesome taste in books and have awesome vlogs.

9. What was the first book that you remember reading for leisure in your childhood?

I remember reading all the Roald Dahl books because my gran got them free with teabags. They were pretty much my childhood.

10. Okay, a bit of an "Apprentice" or "Dragon's Den" type of question. Which book should I seek out to read? - PITCH IT TO ME!!! :)
See this is difficult because it depends on who the you is that im ment to be pitching to. I would say to everyone to read Perfect Chemistry because it is a fantastic example of a  romance. Other good books id say to people to read are the shifters series - stray, rogue, pride, pray, shift and alpha. Its a good adult paranormal romance that keeps you guessing till the very end that has a beliveable and mostly likeable main female character. And if youre looking for something really different The Basement Killer which is an 89p Kindle book on amazon is really really really good that will have you saying "what did I just read?"

 I bought so weird hairband/bobble type things since they were bogof in new look

 and a truely ugly skirt that i love even though it looks like curtains

 Googly eyes - cause Im going all out on this diary ive to keep for a certain someone

 Plus string, glue and rubbers for the same reason as above

The book of Letters - Cover

Hannah might have a hard time getting me to let go of this book by the end of the year cause this is just the cover page and I must say Im pretty dam proud of it. Took me HOURS to draw and colour all the pretty little envelopes.

That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.

Purely cause its awesome!

Thus far I think Ive had a pretty productive day. Pretty sure I managed to piss someone off then salvage it. Meet my group to plan our course of action, been to a lecture, ate a cheese toasty now just waiting for the next lecture and next group meeting then I'm done for the day!!

Intending to go home and do more Uni work so that its out the way and I no longer need to worry about it. Got myself all tengled in knots today over my Marketing Research group work so need to get that straight in my head before I even attempt to do any work on it.

Loaded my suffle up with more music last night so currently it only has nightwish and kamelot on it but Im feeling like my walk down the hill requires it to power walk to.

Recently aquired

I bought two new books today that arent paranormal romance or YA and I'm still excited about reading them, im proud of myself.

Unproductive Productive day

Feel my blogs been a bit bare recently so trying to get back into blogging again, vlogs seem to have taken over a wee bit.

I really dislike Mondays since I have to go to university for one hour. Went to the library after the lecture though and learned how to use the self issue machines for books which was kind of terrifying.

Came home and chilled for a couple of hours watching the mask of Zorro (it was rubbish, dont bother)

Bought a book on the bookdepository for the first time, mixing it up a bit from amazon.

Cleaned out the guinea pig and made him a tent out of an old towel, he has a fort so hes happy.

Cleaned and then rearraned my bedroom, nothing is where it was before (slight exaduration the only things that moved were the bed, the desk and the chest of drawers)

Now chilling out having had the bedroom invaded by the rents to watch university challenge since the TV downstairs has lost BBC2 for no apparent reason.

Plan for the rest of the night is to have a shower, clean the carpet then go to bed and watch take me out since I missed it on Saturday cause I was working =[

Corner Bookmarks

Was feeling slightly creative earlier and have been wanting to make these wee guys for a while, finally got round to it tonight

Really should have been drying my hair but instead I made a corner bookmark. He needs a name, trying to think of something more creative than bitey

Today has been one mighty productive day, if you get past the fact that I slept in. Woke up at like half 6 and felt wide awake but went back to bed and got woken up at 8 again by my alarm. Got out of bed about twenty to nine and feel into work for the managers meeting at 9. Home for quarter past 11 and declared war on my room, the place was a bombsite, aired the full place out, cleaned it all up and cleaned out the pig.
Made a start on some uni work about the advertising of Scotland and filmed a couple of youtube videos (scroll down). Mum and dad went out for the afternoon so I've been having a rather good afternoon listening to music really loudly which I haven't done in far too long.
Sorted out all my paperwork for France!!
Started a new book cause I needed a bit of romance mixed in with my harder reading so currently reading "Jessica's guide to dating on the darkside" - widely regarded as a good book with a stupid name. Thus far it seems good.
