Well weathered wisdom

"Under this national raincloud
I'm getting soaked to the skin
Trying to find my umbrella
But I don't know where to begin"

Sometimes it just feels like the clouds have descended upon your life and it will never get better. We may realise there's a problem and not know where to start to fix it or maybe were so wrapped up in feeling overwhelmed we don't even realise like walking in the rain and not realising your crying until your out of the rain. Maybe the problem fixes itself, the clouds descend but don't open and we don't realise how close we were to getting soaked.

"Constantly bailing out water
But still like I'm gonna sink"

Sometimes it just all get ontop of us and suddenly the waters above your knees before you even realise it was there in the first place.

That's when we get out the buckets and teacups and start bailing as fast as possible, take it one container at a time and suddenly there's only the puddle in the bottom and then you can pull the plug on your troubles, let them just trickle away.

However the rain brings good to. Having problems is common in life and they will either make you or break you. Sometimes problems being brought to light allows you to clear the air, like a thunderstorm, so you can warm your heart in the sunshine once more, sit back and enjoy the glorious weather having seen the destruction the storm can bring.

"We are often surrounded by wisdom in songs just waiting to be interpreted"
