Split Second Seeing?

Ever catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror you didn't realise was there and you look utterly different?

Walking across a shop floor and catching a look at yourself in a mirror you look utterly different for the smallest second before you realise you can see yourself and suddenly everything changes. Your posture changes. Your expression. Everything.
