Things you learn as a first year student

Free software can be a good send

It is not possible to do coursework with someone else in the room even if you tell yourself it is

Dont sit down, offer a hello and keep walking!

Do your coursework early, do group work earlier, so it all, do it right and feel smug that its done

Dont take people at face value, they may tell you theyve done badly, they havent.

Dont be so morale you fail your course, fricken use the "resoures"

Even when winging it some preperation is better than none.

Email before the night before when your not actually sure what your ment to be submitting.

Don't say youll do things you won't

Don't leave it so late that your nearly dead by the time you've ran up the hill.

Short cut through Royal College is a life saver.

If it can be avoided don't stay in Halls.

Dont sit next to a window in a tutorial you will either freeze in the draft or roast in the sun.

Never stress to much, its not the end of the world.

Open your mouth and speak to people but not to the point you look utterly mental.

As soon as theirs sun in the sky, everyone will appear in shorts, it really isnt that warm.

Lectures are not mandatory.

Lecturers never email you the important stuff but instead leave you to scour myplace for the relevant information, leave no stone unturned.

Get a cracking summer holiday

Enjoy your time off.

Take MDP a wee bit more seriousl, but not to much
